Brooklyn trio WET’s Don’t Wanna Be Your Girl is a honeyed, melancholic song that’s been melting my heart and making my legs feel like jelly for a year now. WeDidIt signed producer PURPLE has given it the ultimate remix treatment by giving it plenty of syrupy, haunting atmosphere and dark, draggy production. I love sugary sad R&B pop. I also love wickedly dark and eerie music. This is a combo of those two, and I’m not complaining… far from it.
